DIGITAL NEWS EDITOR WANTED!!!

IBKR is seeking an innovative Digital News Editor to develop a new online news publication. This individual will be forward thinking and develop new approaches and formats to build a wide audience in financial markets.

Job Responsibilities

Research, edit, and proof content that will be published online

Plans and produces content according to the website's style and technical requirements

Write reports and editorial summaries of current financial market studies

Ensures that information produced is relevant to the audience and is aligned with the company’s marketing

Drives content optimization to increase traffic and engagement

Understanding of web editing systems, including CMS and SEO, along with the use of keywords and links

Track and analyze online traffic

Produce and present reports

to senior executives

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Journalism, Economics or Finance.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role working financial market oriented publications

Experience in reporting, editing and producing News journals.

Familiar with Economics and Markets, Economic Indicators, and working with business news organizations

Data skills and experience using tools for web analytics.

Experience with SQL, Python or other data-analysis languages is a strong advantage.
